SummaryThe Sales & Pricing Analyst is responsible for report generation, business analysis and sales support to for the bulk wine and case goods sales channels. There are three primary responsibilities for the role; 1) collection and analysis of key sales and distributor data that will provide meaningful insight to the sales team to facilitate a clearer understanding of market conditions; 2)--manage product pricing to ensure MFWC case goods are competitively priced to deliver MFWC target profit margins, and; 3) monthly performance reporting and analysis for the bulk wine, case goods, and DTC sales channels. The role reports to the Commercial Finance Manager.Essential Functions:Generate monthly sales reports and analysis for the bulk wine, case goods, and DTC businesses.Become expert user of VIP system and review average sales by account/chain by channel to analyze category trends and present insights to Senior Leadership.Update program trackers to ensure full compliance with chain customer activation.Update weekly sales reports vs monthly budget for each Region Manager and VP of sales.Develop a robust understanding of performance by brand for recommended activation across chain accounts.Assist with pulling and understanding all pertinent financial data in PBI, iDig, & Navision in order to perform comprehensive financial and sales analysis for the case goods business. This will include detailed report/dashboard building and presentation of finding.sReview pricing trends and offer recommendations on brand repositioning by regionBuild price grids as requested ensuring MFWC minimum margins are met, and assist with maintaining pricing data in ERP system.Assist with billing discrepancies & exceptions between MFWC and Distributor.Manage Sales Team A&P and travel budgets to ensure spends are in line with outcomes, and highlight potential overspend by region through monthly meetings for each sales person.Analyze monthly P&L by region with keen focus on Trade Discounts and A&P impacts to the bottom line. Present findings to management.Analyze monthly brand P&L and present findings to sales and Leadership team.Key collaborator with internal stakeholders (Sales, Accounting, FP&A) to provide financial guidance and bring clarity to all pertinent matters concerning sales and pricing. This will include assisting Business Transformation with tasks & assignments as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:At least 3 years of financial and/or accounting experienceStrong analytical and presentation skills requiredKnowledge of the alcohol beverage industry preferredProficient with Excel (including modelling), PowerPoint and WordAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain organized at all times
