This person will be responsible for supervising and managing the raw product materials needed by Fresh Venture Foods, supervising all activities related to receiving and organizing purchased materials and materials flow. Also, responsible for inventory Cycle Counts and overall accuracy of stock inventory, manage department performance, storage practices and receiving of materials.Primary Responsibilities:Oversee inventory process and metrics to ensure inventory and delivery of raw product materials meets production goals.Measure and reduce waste of materials through FIFO procedures.Analyze the usage of raw product materials and recommend best warehousing practices.Supervise and measure the daily performance of cycle counts of all existing raw product materials, accounting for in transit and shortfalls.Supervise, motivate, and evaluate staff to reach goals and document inventory transactions.Oversee the inventory depletion process, ensuring an accurate count of used/transformed materials is maintain at all stages of the process.Responsible of accuracy of inventory transactions for an accurate material yield trackingInterpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues. May resolve problems within established practices.Provides occasional guidance to management, some of which is technicalCommunicates and implements policies and procedures to ensure complianceHandle safety, personnel and plant operational issues per company protocol and know when to escalate issues to management.Responsible for OSHA compliance and for safety and welfare of all employees on shiftLead the team on continuous improvement initiativesMonitor employee performance and set expectationsTrain crew leads to understand KPI's and implement goals and objectives for leaders to obtain results.Must have predictable and reliable attendance and be able to work a flexible work schedule as needed.Knowledge/Skills/Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.Knowledgeable of Inventory Management ProcessKnowledgeable in Purchasing ProcessKnowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and data analysisKnowledge of Famous Software is desirableKnowledge of applicable government regulations including but not limited to GMP's, HACCP, and FDA regulations and FSMA standardsProficient using ERP systemsExperience in implementation of continuous improvement initiativesKnowledge of OSHA RegulationsAbility to work under pressure and multitask and set priorities.Must have reliable and predictable attendanceMust demonstrate excellent judgement and decision-making abilitiesBilingual English-Spanish.Physical Demands with or without reasonable accommodations (Walking, lifting, equipment, operation)Must be able to stand/walk/ sit at a computer terminalClimb stairsList up to 20 lbs.Must be able to grasp, grip, and reach with hands and armsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.Working Conditions and Environment (Travel, work hours, or conditions)80/20 plant and office environment.
