Role: Sourcing and Procurement Specialist
Location: Santa Maria, CA 93455 (Onsite from day 1. Local candidates are highly preferred. Will consider any candidate 2-3 hours away from the Santa Maria, CA and ready to relocate)
Contract Duration: 11 Months

Job Description:-
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Identify potential sources of supply; create request for quote (RFQ) package; conduct competitive analysis; make source selection and document Fair and Reasonable Price Justification Documentation.
