Job Description:

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Technical Support Specialist (8am-5pm, M-F). The Technical Support Specialist is part of Hardy Diagnostics' Technical team and is mainly responsible for responding to customers with technical questions or complaints about our products. Other microbiology or product performance-related projects may be assigned. Customer interaction may be via email, phone or in person so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. This position also supports our Sales and Marketing Department with product information, customer support, and some travel may be required. The Technical Support Specialist may occasionally be involved with troubleshooting or product development projects that involve laboratory work. Minimum requirements include a BA/BS or MS degree, preferably in microbiology or related life science field and three years related experience. Computer literacy in word-processing and spreadsheet software is also required. Completion of a minimum of 12 hours of documented continuing education annually is desired.
