Job Description:
DescriptionHCI is in search of an experienced Fiber and Copper
splicing supervisor. Qualified candidates will have minimum 3 years
of supervisory experience in this field and be able to lead
multiple teams including HCI employees and Sub-contractors having
relevant experience in both Fiber and Copper Splicing and testing.

Responsibilities
- Supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing projects
are completed in accordance with customer and industry
specifications. This includes ensuring that all needed tools and
equipment are available at the jobsite, working from engineered
blueprints, and keeping track of production.
- Resolve complaints with property owners in assigned areas.
- Supervise both HCI and Sub-contractor fiber and copper
splicers.
- Control/oversee the work of splicing teams.
- Able to manage cable damages with the replacement and/or
splicing repair of both copper and fiber services
- Review daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of
work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built.
- Able to utilize daily production reports and translate that to
an invoice for processing
- Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to
ensure accurate material usage counts.
- Perform quality control inspections by reviewing work completed
by employees and or sub-contractors.
- Maintain and enforce company, federal and state rules and
regulations, such as non-discriminatory practices, payroll and
overtime guidelines, etc.
- Administer appropriate corrective disciplinary actions and
prepare supporting documentation to address employee performance
and/or behavioral issues.
- Have the ability to use computers to manage tracking sheets and
access various programs.
- Willing to work Monday thru Friday, including daily overtime
and on call rotation work when necessary.
