Clinical Concierge X-ray Tech is responsible for performing all
clinical and radiologic tasks with the facility and license scope.
Tasks also include greeting and registering patients, answering
phones, booking appointments, payment collection, rooming patients,
obtaining vitals, assisting the provider with medical procedures as
appropriate to scope. Running POCT tests within the scope.
Additionally, there may be radiology students in a local training
program who will be shadowing you for their clinical rotation. Work
situations include a variety of functions within the Urgent Care
Center requiring knowledge and integration of available standards,
resources, data, discretion, good judgement, diplomacy, decision
making, team player, positive attitude, and customer service
excellence. Center environment includes walk-in, and reservation
based care, on a 12-hour shift with a wide variety in patient
volumes throughout the shift. This position requires a highly
collaborative approach to all services, within scope, at the
- Successful completion of a X-ray Technician program
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid California X-ray Technician (limited scope)
certifications in all of the following areas: Chest, Extremities,
Torso-Skeletal and Leg-podiatric.
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
- Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge of electronic medical record, preferably Epic. Basic
Years of Related Work Experience
3 years of X-ray Technician (limited scope) experience in a
