This position is responsible for providing plant oversight for
cost and engineering activities that facilitates the efficient
progress of plant operations and ensures compliance with regulatory
Essential Job Accountabilities
1. Determine and calculate production quantities and communicate
to management to ensure their understanding of our cost to
2. Prepare, implement and test SWPPP's, hazardous materials
plans, in conjunction with the Environmental Department to ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Perform operational improvement studies and recommend
improvement or process modifications to ensure the most efficient
operations are implemented.

ensure a safe working environment at all times.
5. Ensure operations are compliant with MSHA, OSHA, blasting
policies, and Granite policies.
6. Provide short term production schedule, monitor plant
performance and compare to budget, be involved with plant
maintenance, and be involved in working with union contracts.
7. Ensure that plants are producing materials that meet
specifications and identify problems that are causing quality
8. Prepare and prioritize maintenance and repairs of material
processing equipment to ensure cost efficient maintenance

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related field
