possible in typical positions. Position Description As a Design Detailer, you will be responsible for working within
the framework of a team and performing the following
activities: * Assist and support mold designers with detailing prints and
ECO modifications to molds * Understand part design engineering
instructions, MI's, ISO, QSR, work rules and safety guidelines *
Interface with PMD shop, programming, engineering, quality
inspection, team members and management to maintain open
communication * Insist that team members follow safety rules,
manufacturing instruction, work rules, and other manufacturing
guidelines * Review routing sheets and accompanying documents for
the accuracy of the quantities and signatures * Communicate with
Team Leader and team members to develop a team concept * Support
project leaders and programmers as required Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: * High school diploma or equivalent * 2+ years' experience
related to design * Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality
Systems (per our training) * Read, write, speak and comprehend
English * Understand and comply with safety rules and company
policies * Must possess a working knowledge of MI's, QSR, ISO,
SOP's, work rules and safety guidelines * Must have strong verbal
communication skills and ability to interface with team members
about all manufacturing duties, activities and production issues *
Must have strong interpersonal skills * Must possess a technical
and hands-on approach to problem-solving * Must have a working
knowledge of Solid Works, Microsoft Word and Excel * Experience
