Job Description:

All New-Store Operations Seasonal Associates will be assisting with the set up, stocking and opening or our new store.

Seasonal Associates are expected to load and unload trucks, stock merchandise, greet customers, and work together as a team to ensure a timely opening of new store. In addition, all Seasonal Associates are expected to be on-time for shifts and work hard to complete daily tasks as it pertains to the new-store pre-opening check list

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities for New-Store Operations Seasonal Associates fall into 2 categories and you may be asked to perform any of the following:

Stocker responsibilities - New store set-up processStocking merchandise Inventory management Loading/unloading trucks

This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and New-Store Operations Seasonal Associates may be asked to help with other duties as needed. Job Requirements Open Availability: morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week; regular attendance is an essential function of the position Physical ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds and stand/move for entire shift Physical ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist and safely climb up/down ladder to perform job duties as needed No operation of vehicle equipment (including forklifts) is permitted unless certified by Harbor Freight Tools

Job Qualifications – Education and ExperienceHigh school Diploma or GED preferred but not required Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction) Experience working in a retail environment Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements General office environment requiring ability to:stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time speak and listen to others in person and over the phone use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports lift up to 50 lbs.
