Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: San Luis Obispo, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,113 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in San Luis Obispo, California, 93401! Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: ARRT and/or CRT; RCIS preferred but not required Description: Unit consists of a Cath Lab and IR department. There are 3 suites/labs available. The average number of cases per day is 10. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner/Mac Lab. There is a charge nurse on duty. There are 10 Cath Lab and IR Technologists on the team. RN weekend requirement is 2 nurses every weekend. There is a call requirement of 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month for RNs. The response time for RNs on call is greater than 30 minutes. Techs have a call requirement of 1 night per week and 2 weekends per month. The response time for Techs on call is also greater than 30 minutes. Holidays are shared among staff members. Scrub color is provided. Tele and vent support are available. Cardiologists are on call usually for 1 night per week and shared weekend call. IV team services are provided by a Vascular Access Team. Radiology Technologists are available 24/7. Pharmacy goes on call after 8 PM. Shifts include AM, Mid, and PM hours. There is no floating to different units. Floor-specific orientation is provided. Common cases include IR and Cardiac procedures.
