Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 12, 2026 - Length: 16 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN with recent charge nurse experience for a Telemetry night shift position in an acute care setting requiring a current CA RN license. Details - Work in a telemetry unit within an acute care hospital environment - Night shifts with 12-hour schedule and every other weekend required - First to float within the facility as needed - Patient population includes cardiac and telemetry monitoring needs - Uses Cerner EMR system; experience required Requirements - Active CA RN license is required at the time of consideration; pending licenses are not accepted - Minimum of 3 years recent RN experience required - Must have recent charge nurse experience in last assignment - Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS (AHA or APEX) - Completion of required orientation and unit-specific training - Submission must include copy of driver's license - Two professional references required: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years - Candidate may not have been employed directly by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year Additional Information - Role blends charge nurse, clinical mentor, and on-shift manager responsibilities including rounding, addressing patient concerns, and supporting staff - Three weeks of orientation are provided, including classroom and unit-based training - No first time travelers will be considered for this position - Additional testing or skills modules may be required prior to start, including dysrhythmia and sterile technique assessments - Professional attire and adherence to hospital dress code required American Traveler Job ID P-653788.
