to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Oxnard, California, 93030! Job

- Experience with drips - Experience with reading telemetry strips
- Positive attitude and compassion Description: This is a float
pool position requiring the nurse to float to different units as
needed. The unit primarily involves telemetry care with a
high-acuity patient population. The nurse will manage patients with
conditions such as pneumonia, end-stage renal disease, respiratory
distress, and heart failure. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically
1:4 for telemetry patients. Charge nurses will not take patient
assignments, ensuring support for nursing staff. Nurse aides are
available but may be limited based on census. Nurses should be
capable of reading telemetry strips and managing various drips
including amiodarone and cardizem. Bipap or CPAP may be utilized,
but vent management will not be required. There are hospitalists
available for support, with a shared on-call system after hours.
Experience in a busy environment with limited resources is
necessary. Travel experience is preferred, and the ability to
maintain a positive patient-centered approach is essential. 5
