Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. This position is represented by SEIU. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Required /n - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor’s): Preferred /n - Master's Degree: Preferred /n - Three years' technical experience: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required /n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required /n - Must have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET): Required /n - ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required /n - ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET: Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Performs various radiographic, mammographic, computed tomography and/or ultrasound examinations consistent with employee’s experience. Performs three modalities competently. /n - Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart.
