MR-1214 Program Director wanted for a Family Medicine Residency
program. Santa Maria the Barbecue Capital of California, located on
the Beautiful Central California Coast between Los Angeles and San
Francisco, Only 20 Minutes to famous Pismo Beach or 15 Miles to the
Coast. A short commute to Historic San Luis Obispo or Hearst
Castle, Santa Maria is famous for its Tri-tip BBQ and numerous
local wineries that offer the finest in California Wines, This is a
wonderful opportunity for a Physician leader to join a growing and
dynamic program while living in one of the most beautiful areas in
the country! Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Residency Education Administration including general oversight
of all curricular areas
- Develops and coordinates resident curricula, leading the
Program Evaluation Committee
- Oversees policies and procedures for the residency
- Ensure compliance with ACGME, ABFM and ABOFP requirements.
- Oversee resident evaluation processes, determine strategies for
helping residents
- Prepare resident rotation schedules
- Identify and collaborate with program leadership on grant
proposals
- Provide administrative oversight for grants, budget management
and grant evaluation
- Plan and assist with the residency applicant recruitment
process.
- Coordinate the faculty development program
- Participate in the education and training of residents in areas
of expertise.
- General oversight of scholarly and quality improvement projects
of the residents. Generous Compensation package includes:
- Salary is 290LK to $315K - BOE

program director for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Seeking
a Seasoned hospital and clinic leader dedicated to supporting the
residency program, program offers a seasoned support staff and well
tenured administrative team, dedicated and loyal patient
population. The successful candidate must have completed a
residency in and be board certified in Family Medicine, have
documented educational and/or administrative experience as faculty
must be knowledgeable about ACGME requirements. Great work life
