The Practice Marian Regional Medical Center - Santa Maria, California

• Every year roughly 70,000 patients come through the 32 private exam rooms and three trauma rooms of Marian Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department.
• STEMI Receiving Center designation from Santa Barbara County's EMS Agency.
• Level III Trauma Center include 24-hour immediate coverage by emergency medicine physicians, and the availability of general surgeons and anesthesiologists. Role of the Advanced Provider
  • Ensure level 4 and 5 patients move through the department efficiently.
  • Pick up level 3 patients where skills are appropriate to do so
  • Perform procedures and other helpful tasks associated with level 1 & 2 patients.
  • During high volume hours and surge times perform Rapid Medical Evaluation and assist in triage The Community
    • Located along the coast offering beautiful, Mediterranean climate with warm summers, mild winters, and sunny days throughout the year

      • Seeking ED/UCC physician assistants and nurse practitioners; 2 years of experience required.
      • Current national certification, DEA, CA state license, PALS, and ACLS are required
