Volt is immediately hiring for a Landscape Account Manager
(Bilingual) in Santa Barbara, CA.

As a Landscape Account Manager, you will:
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of
client accounts (typically 15-20 accounts).
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients,
understanding their unique needs and preferences.
Conduct regular site visits to assess landscape conditions, monitor
service quality, and proactively address any client concerns.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding service schedules,
ongoing projects, potential issues, and recommendations for
landscape enhancements.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, requests,
and feedback, ensuring timely resolution of any issues.
Cultivate trust and rapport with clients, acting as a trusted
advisor for all their landscaping needs.
Account Management and Growth:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality landscaping services that meet
or exceed client expectations and contractual obligations.
Monitor account profitability, identify opportunities for
efficiency improvements, and manage account budgets
effectively.
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or
cross-sell additional landscaping services, such as landscape
enhancements, seasonal color rotations, irrigation upgrades, or
tree care services.
Prepare and present detailed proposals for new services, landscape
renovations, or enhancements, clearly articulating the value
proposition to the client.
Negotiate and manage client contracts and service agreements,
ensuring clear scope of work, pricing, and terms.
Track client satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for
service improvement to enhance client retention and loyalty.
Operations and Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the operations team, including field
supervisors and crew leaders, to schedule and coordinate
landscaping services, ensuring efficient and timely execution of
work.
Communicate client requirements, service specifications, and any
special instructions to field crews, ensuring clear understanding
and alignment.
Monitor the quality of work performed by field crews, conduct site
inspections, and provide feedback to ensure adherence to company
standards and client expectations.
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to field staff, fostering
a positive and productive work environment.
Address any on-site challenges, logistical issues, or unexpected
situations that may arise, working collaboratively with the team to
find effective solutions.
Ensure that all landscaping work is performed safely, efficiently,
and in compliance with company policies, industry best practices,
and all applicable regulations.
Sales and Business Development:
Provide value-added solutions and expert recommendations to
clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their landscape
goals and offering tailored solutions.
Stay informed about industry trends, new landscaping products and
technologies, and emerging best practices to enhance service
offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in horticulture, landscape management, or a
related field is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the landscaping industry, with
a demonstrated focus on account management, client relations, or a
similar customer-facing role.
Bilingual, Spanish is required.
Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships,
achieving sales targets, and driving client satisfaction in the
landscaping industry.
In-depth knowledge of landscaping principles, practices,
techniques, and materials, including plant identification, pruning,
irrigation, and fertilization.
Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written, English
and Spanish), with the ability to effectively interact with
clients, colleagues, and field staff at all levels.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a genuine
passion for exceeding client expectations and building long-term
partnerships.
Ability to prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals,
and reports to clients, showcasing the value of services and
solutions.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving
skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple
projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as
collaboratively within a team, fostering a positive and supportive
work environment.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
