high-quality, affordable reproductive health care along
California's Central Coast. Each year, PPCCC provides 35,000 people
on the central coast with health care services; including sexually
transmitted infection testing and treatment, birth control, breast
and cervical cancer screenings, vasectomies, and safe and legal
abortion care at our six health center locations. PPCCC also
provides comprehensive sexuality education programs to help adults
and teens make healthy decisions, prevent unintended pregnancies,
and avoid sexually transmitted infection.JOB SUMMARY:Direct a
multi-service program which provides reproductive health care
services and abortion services. Responsible for recruitment,
training, supervision and evaluation of clinic staff. Responsible
for all fiscal aspects of the health center operations. In
consultation with the VP of Health Center Operations, the Center
Director is responsible for special projects related to clinical
services, including clinic volunteer activities, where
applicable.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ensure adherence to Planned
Parenthood California Central Coast written medical protocols which
incorporate all State, Federal, PPFA and PPCCC guidelines and which
are approved by the Medical Director.Adhere to PPCCC's
Administrative policies and procedures and State of California
regulations. Update staff on changes in PPCCC protocols, policies
and procedures, as needed.Prepare and monitor program and budget
plans in conjunction with the VP of Health Center Operations.
Supervise the financial aspects of the center operations, including
but not limited to: implementing fee schedules, maintaining
inventory and purchasing supplies, balancing of ledger sheets and
bank deposits, managing petty cash records and requisitions,
preparing check requests and processing bills.Responsible for
supervision and reconciliation of daily handling of cash and bank
deposits.Ensure adequate staffing and positive clinic staff
relations by recruiting, training, supervising, evaluating and
disciplining, if necessary, staff and volunteers as needed. Specify
responsibilities, authority and working relationships among
staff.Develop/coordinate staff schedules in a timely manner and
adequate licensed staff coverage for service demands.Supervise
clinical services in order to ensure maximum efficiency and clinic
flow.Ensure and enforce compliance with infection control, safety
and emergency guidelines.Other duties as assigned by the VP of
Health Center Operations.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Clinicians,
RN, Patient Services Assistants and Health Center
AssistantsResponsible for addressing all health center staff
personnel issues in a fair and efficient manner.Responsible for
completing all non-licensed staff evaluations on time and ensuring
facilitation of annual skills checklistsWork with Medical Services
Manager to complete all licensed staff evaluations and skills
checklistsResponsible for coaching and mentoring all
staffQUALIFICATIONS:Strong commitment to the mission, policies,
goals and philosophy of Planned Parenthood.Knowledge of sexual and
reproductive healthcare.Ability to delegate and empower staff
effectively.Demonstrate strong leadership.Excellent written and
verbal communication skills.Accuracy and attention to detail are
essential.Strong commitment to Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree or
equivalent experience plus two years of management experience in a
health care setting, preferably one which provided abortion
services.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex
documents.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive
inquiries or complaints.Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft
Windows work environment. Experience with electronic health
records.Planned Parenthood California Central Coast's (PPCCC's)
compensation philosophy supports the organization's mission,vision,
and values. Each position has a salary based on market value and
the organization's pay levels. The starting salary for this
position is $84,468 with an opportunity for an increase after six
months of employment.As part of our commitment to pay equity, PPCCC
does not negotiate salaries.Pay Differential: $ bilingual
Spanish/English differential pay is offered upon passing the
language assessment test.
