Job Description Position: Manager in training/Assistant store manager Overview: Carr's Boots and Western Wear is looking for a superstar to join our management team at our SANTA MARIA retail location! The person in this position assists the store manager in managing, coordinating, and executing all activities needed to perform an exceptional customer experience and maintain a fun, positive work environment. The perfect candidate is someone who is team-oriented, energetic, personable, reliable, committed, sales-oriented, career-minded, and looking to grow and contribute to a positive work and customer-service experience. General Duties of the position Providing exceptional customer service. Greeting, directing, engaging customers. Providing leadership and ongoing training to the sales team, adherence to sales protocol; Providing direction. Working directly with the store manager to ensure that the front and back rooms are maintained as per company standards. Assisting with scheduling. Corresponding with customers via telephone, email, as needed. Light stock work as needed. Opening and closing store. Meeting sales objectives Availability on weekends . Compensation Hourly base plus personal commission plus perks and contest winnings Benefits and Other Compensation Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits available for full-time employees following completion of the 90-day introductory period.
