(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Geriatrics/Long Term Care-Director of Nursing - Exciting opportunity for a Resident Services Director, LVN managing a Senior Living community near Santa Maria, CA. The community has Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.


The Nurse Director will be responsible for directing, controlling, managing, and assuring quality assisted living services. Continually promote companys Service Promise and Standards.
Ensure accurate and timely assessments of all residents and prospective residents.
Direct, supervise, develop, and implement resident care systems.
Complete pre-placement assessments, needs and service plans, and input obtained data into the Right Click system.
Assure resident care and services meet acceptable standards. Follow best resident care practices.
Coordinate and communicate resident care needs with resident and responsible parties.
Manage all medications for residents residing in licensed areas.
Provide professional clinical support to Memory Care Program Director, including scheduled weekly meetings, as well as clinical consultations regarding specific care issues.
Responsible for communicating with residents, families, and health care professionals regarding residents care needs.
Communicate resident care needs with physicians and other health care providers.
Obtain medical records necessary to determine residents appropriateness for community and to develop needs and service plans.
Communicate residents change in condition or adverse reactions to medications with health care professionals.
Responsible for ensuring there is adequate team member coverage to provide quality care for all residents.
Create and maintain appropriate staffing schedules at levels within budget to meet resident needs in Assisted Living.
Provide supervision, training, evaluation, and discipline of team members to assure proper resident care.
Train new and existing team members regarding regulatory standards and policy and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that all state health and safety regulations are complied with.
Ensure that all residents meet state or governing bodies requirements.
Maintain regulatory compliance with all agencies.
Assure proper documentation is in line with company policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
Min 2 years' experience working with the elderly in an Assisted Living Community.
Min 1 year Management and supervisory experience including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling.
Current and unencumbered LVN license in the state of California.
Longevity in prior positions
Ability to communicate written and orally in English.
Criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community, including no prior arrests, DUI convictions, etc.
Knowledgeable of state and federal regulations governing Assisted Living community Resident Care.
Available for on-call.
Able to actively foster and cultivate a team and community culture that is consistent with company standards.
Able to exhibit good business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with multiple priorities.
Able to demonstrate ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision.
