Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Control Assistant in Santa Maria!Volt takes great care of our great hires!As a Quality Control Assistant you will:

• Perform inspections of raw materials, purchased parts, in-process parts and finished products according to guideline.
• Work with filed inspectors
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
• Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Inspect all areas of manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met.
• Evaluate Customer Returns and report results.
• Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
• Participate in the construction and/or revision of specs for cost effectiveness.
• Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures and checklists.
• Observe and participate in production processes to identify and evaluate problems in order to make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
• Report, document and identify root cause of unusual production circumstances.
• Maintain a safe, well organized and clean work environment.
